Senior Accountant (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Assists with the monthly and quarterly close process including preparation of journal entries
• Responsible for accounting, reporting and analysis of Fixed Assets and Inventory
• Conducts and analyzes monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Reviews and analyzes monthly revenue and cost of sales accounts and provides variance analysis
• Facilitates local reporting and annual audits
• Local and foreign tax reporting including corporate tax and transfer pricing
• Collaborates on department initiatives and assists with special projects
• Ensures IFRS compliance standards are met
• Performs other related duties as required

About You

• Post-secondary business degree
• CPA designation in progress near completion
• 4+  years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in a multinational, multi-currency environment is preferable
• Solid knowledge of IFRS
• Prior experience with Microsoft D365 and/or BPC is an asset
• Rental industry experience is an asset
• Detailed orientated with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions
• Communicates with clarity, verbally and in writing, in one on one or group situations
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision

Salary

$75,000 - $85,000/year
