About the Opportunity

• Prepare annual audited financial statements inclusive of full notes, shells and all necessary disclosures
• Prepare, file and manage premium tax, HST, RST filings
• Prepare P&C1 statutory filing schedules and supporting working papers
• Prepare year-end audit binders, obtain supporting documentation and resolve audit queries
• Prepare journal entries into accounting system
• Assist with quarter end reporting as required
• Prepare management reports
• Interact with various levels of management to obtain understanding of processes, risks and controls
• Provide executable recommendations that improve operations and finance functions
• Work collaboratively and develop strong relationships with business units, operational executives, and managers
• Display teamwork, integrity and leadership

About You

• CPA
• Experience in Property & Casualty industry, with full cycle accounting and focus on financial reporting
• Strong month end / transactional accounting background
• Excel skills

Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000/year
