Our client is a well-established organization in the natural resources industry. They are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for accounting and reporting for projects under development.

About the Opportunity

• Carry out daily accounting transactions for projects (intercompany transactions, bill payments, bank entries and monthly accruals)
• Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations for assigned entities
• Ensure all deadlines are met during the month end close process
• Prepare accounting analysis and financial statements
• Prepare and coordinate management reporting with various stakeholders across the organization
• Analyze financial information and communicate results on monthly basis
• Ad hoc projects as assigned
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns
• Implement best practice initiatives
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of accounting software
• Enforce a strong internal control environment

About You

• CPA
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Previous exposure to complex accounting and tax structures, US GAAP/IFRS
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Other MS Office applications

Salary Range

$80,000 - $90,000/year
