About the Opportunity

• Partner with departments across the organization to analyze and continuously drive improvement in our internal controls and financial reporting processes
• Perform weekly cash flow reviews and assist with weekly/monthly reporting to global headquarters
• Participate in special projects/ad-hoc reporting as required
• Take ownership of the financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy of all income statement accounts
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, monthly financial statements, and variance analysis
• Prepare and file indirect tax returns including GST /HST
• Assist with the interim and year-end audit requirements as required

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting from a top university
• CPA designation and prior experience with an accounting firm (Bonus points for Big 4)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS including technical accounting and reporting requirements
• Attention to detail is renowned, able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Proactive problem-solver: always looking for a better, more efficient way to complete your own and the team’s tasks
• Proficient in using Excel (Advanced level), knowledge of SQL is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• You want to be part of a high-growth company, are interested in food and technology, and are ready to take on significant responsibility

Salary Range

$85,000/year
