About the Opportunity

  • Act as a subject matter expert and lead/mentor the CRM team on client projects
  • Review and approve architecture solution designs ensuring that they are consistent with the architecture frameworks that emphasizes a reuse strategy
  • Prioritize a wide range of tasks with an understanding of the big picture and inter-dependencies across processes and systems
  • Provide architectural, solution and technical oversight for multiple projects at a time, including sharing expertise on standards, guidelines, and design patterns for CRM based on industry best practices
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential issues or risks with system landscape and report to all levels of the client, and internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with stakeholders during the design, development, and implementation of the technical aspects of our client projects
  • Ability to provide guidance on solutions as well as technical design and infrastructure, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states to deliver a solution
  • Develop, lead and maintain Data Quality Architecture, Governance and support data Master data management/stewardship
  • Be proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets and communicating results to the project teams
  • Provide internal consulting on data migration strategies and middleware solutions when applicable
  • Guide, develop and obtain overall agreement and validation of architecture road maps, frameworks, policies, standards and related processes with all technology team members
  • Support the development team in both projects and maintenance items through the SDLC
  • Hands-on design, prototyping and development of custom solutions through standard SFDC configuration focused heavily on Apex, Lightning, VisualForce, Java, application integration and data migration. Other technologies will be assigned accordingly
  • Conduct design/code reviews, technical governance, coaching developers and administrator
  • Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to stakeholders, and then follow-up on all results
  • Consult with CRM clients in an effort to maintain high levels of client engagement with a heavy focus on client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Provide Release Management oversight including: strategy development, toolsets and coordination

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management or related discipline or equivalent
  • 5+ years of direct Salesforce Solution Architecture experience at a lead level combined with several years of hands-on development experience
  • Experience with Agile delivery methods is required
  • Extensive experience as a lead or architect with Salesforce.com with experience in configuration, customization and reporting
  • Extensive experience with Lightning, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Communities
  • Possess an understanding of sales & marketing processes
  • Working knowledge on expanding solutioning with customizations involving Visualforce, Apex, JavaScript, CSS
  • You must be a superior communicator as you will be acting in a consulting capacity in order to gain the full confidence of the client, in all interactions. (both written and verbal)
  • You must bring a strong sense of ownership to the position, with the ability to speak up and provide your opinion based on your past project experience
  • You must be mature in your approach, being always mindful of the vendor/client relationship
  • Strong and effective relationship builder with the ability to influence across technology teams and collaborate effectively with senior executives
  • Certified SFDC System Administrator and Developer is nice to have
