Ruby on Rails Developer (Closed)

Lannick is recruiting for a number of talented Ruby on Rails developers to help our client on a contact for approximately 10 months with possible extension. In this role the developers will be assisting our client to modernize their ecommerce platform.

This is a remote position for the duration of the contract. Candidates can work from anywhere within Canada. This position is not open to US based or international applicants. Candidates must be in Canada to be considered.

About the Opportunity

• Full stack development – the successful candidate will be comfortable across the whole tech stack of our client
• Work cohesively as part of our clients existing team
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure the project is moving forward as expected

About You

• Strong working knowledge of relational databases
• 2+ years of experience developing web applications in Ruby on Rails
• 5+ years of experience in full stack web development using object oriented languages / frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Django / Flask, Node.js, Python, Java, C++, etc.
• 1 + year/s of experience working with React
• Expertise with Javascript, CSS and HTML.
