About the Opportunity

The Revenue Accountant is responsible for performing all accounts receivable duties for a prescribed portfolio of properties. This role is also accountable for maintaining accurate and timely resident ledger and performing all deposit accounting functions

Data Entry

• Ensuring timely posting/entry of resident cash receipts in Yardi.
• Ensuring accuracy and posting of resident recurring charge schedules including electronic payments records.

Account Maintenance

• Reconciling resident ledgers, along with rent roll and resident deposits for portfolio properties.
• Daily bank deposit updates and reconciliation – laundry income, cable revenue etc
• Applying interest on deposits
• Managing 10-day refunds and Resident refunds
• Reviewing and processing monthly PAD’s
• Processing of returned payments

About You

• Working towards business/accounting diploma
• 2 years’ experience in Property Management
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Yardi would be an asset
• Yardi knowledge is a must

Salary

$42,000 - $58,000/year
