Revenue Accountant, Contract (Closed)

About The Opportunity 

• Work closely with Business Development and a off-shore support team to ensure contract details are entered properly into Oracle for clients, issue invoices for subscription clients into QuickBooks on a timely basis, and assist with any cash collection related questions 
• Calculate commissions for third-party sellers every month 
• Responsible for the collections process for clients by: managing a portfolio of customers in Canada; contacting customer via email or phone with tact and discretion; responding to inquiries and research and resolving customer disputes 
• Assist with LATAM billings 
• Perform certain reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of billings for each period 
• Perform some monthly accruals and journal entries; perform some account reconciliations 
• Assist in quarterly and year-end audit procedures, including audit requests (external and tax related) 
• Act as a backup to the billings specialist (as required) 
• Other duties as assigned 

About You 

• 5+ years of billing and collections experience in a large global company 
• Working towards a CPA is a strong asset 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data 
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate positive working relationships 
• Ability to communicate clearly, to work both independently and in a team-environment, and assume additional responsibilities over time 
• Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities and deadlines, with attention to details 
• Effectively handle change and problem solve when faced with ambiguity 
• Experience with QuickBooks, SalesForce.com, Blackline, Tableau, and Oracle’s Contracts, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management modules is a plus 

Pay Rate 

Up to $32/hour
