About the Opportunity
- Process all payables relating to assigned portfolios
- Follow AP Procedure, data entering all information and processing payments weekly
- Meet due dates for assigned tasks, such as ensuring payables are consistently being processed and paid, and all account reconciliations are current
- Handle all invoicing for assigned portfolios, including weekly invoices and rush cheques for all sites, sorting purchase orders, completion slips and delivery slips
- Dealing with suppliers and contractors in regards to invoicing issues, and any credits
- Update the GL for bank interest, service changes, and other adjustments
- Reconcile statements on a monthly basis
- Process all bank statements on a monthly basis
- Process all bank reconciliations for assigned portfolios
- Process all HST for assigned portfolio
About You
- Minimum of three (3) years working in a similar position for a Residential Home-Building Company or in the Construction-Industry
- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or related field of study
- Strong software computer skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience and/or knowledge of Newstar Accounting Software strongly preferred (not required)
- Able to process large number of transactions with accuracy
Salary
$50,000 - $55,000/year
