React / Node Developer (remote, startup) (Closed)

About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a self-starter React Developer to assist with custom software development for a growing set of client initiatives.

This position is in a startup, salary + equity opportunity is available!

About You

• Familiarity with: React, React Native, Node.js, AWS (Fargate, DynamoDB, Redis), Docker
• Experience with: devops, data science, experience in management, online marketing, sales and working with customers and experience in design is preferred
• Self starter and problem solver
• Evidence that you have encountered a problem and learned the right skills to overcome it is valuable
• Experience on scrum teams is valuable
• A university degree in computer science would be ideal, any science or engineering would be valuable, courses enrolled outside of a university will also be valuable
• Experience in a startup environment or having your own side hustle is valuable
• Detail oriented
• Forthcoming and open communication, bring up problems instead of burying them
• Doing things right over doing them fast
• Open minded, considers multiple valid solutions to issues
• Sees problems as a challenge to overcome instead of a roadblock
• Growth mindset: able to learn anything
• Comfortable in new situations, able to think on their feet

Salary

$60,000 - $90,000/year
