Our client is a small software company, and they are looking to hire a Junior QA Tester.

About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a QA/Testers with 12 months+ of QA experience

This will mostly be manual testing of web and desktop Windows applications
We are looking for experience writing and executing test cases from technical spec documents, logging any bugs and making sure developers fix any bugs found, etc
Testing will include both hardware (PC) and software (desktop and web apps)

About You

1+ years of experience in QA/Testing of software (browser based or Windows desktop apps)
Experience writing test cases
Experience with bug tracking, dealing with developers on resolving bugs
Good communication skills
Local to Vaughan area, interested in working 5 days in office

Experience testing desktop software is a plus
Experience testing hardware / PCs is a bonus
Exposure to databases / SQL is preferred

Salary Range

$55,000/year
