About the Opportunity

• Work closely with management to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting
• Review invoices to ensure they have been properly coded and authorized for payment, with supporting documentation
• Ensure the accurate processing and timely payments for all goods and services 
• Liaise with vendors to discuss discrepancies, reconciling items
• Scanning and storage of all invoice and payment documentation
• Reconciling accounts and provide analysis of aged payables 
• Recording of accruals and other necessary journal entries
• Maintain Above Guideline Increase (AGI) binders for all past, ongoing and future applications
• Track capital expenditures, update capex tracker and capital reporting required by Asset Management for owner managed projects at hotels
• Prepare billings to all Hotels for all capital spending processed by Owner
• Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions between Hotel and Owner on a monthly basis.
• Liaise with the Hotel's finance staff to ensure accurate records.
• Maintain excellent relationships with Operations, Finance and external stakeholders
• Supporting other areas of the company where necessary including but not limited to Yardi projects, year-end audits, month end accounting and other ad hoc requests as required

About You

• College or University degree in Business or Accounting
• Must have residential portfolio AND Yardi experience
• Aptitude to learn; Positive attitude even when the going gets tough
• Effectively communicate findings and analysis with management and drives organizational change
• Experience in real estate / hospitality industry

Salary

$62,000 - $68,000/year
