Project Associate - 6 Month Contract (Closed)

Our client is currently hiring a Project Associate who will be responsible for various project activities to ensure the organizations program success.

About the Opportunity

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date project management materials/documents and program management artifacts
  • Ensure activities are on time and within budget and scope by monitoring project deadlines, resources, and activities
  • Proactively monitor risks and issues, escalating in accordance with the companies framework when required
  • Build positive relationships and work with both internal and external partners and stakeholders to accomplish project objectives
  • Preparation of regular project reports and communication updates as directed
  • Support project meetings, including expert working groups and advisory committees
  • Ensure effective and proactive internal and external communications in collaboration with partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategic and operational planning
  • Collaborate with staff at all levels of the organization to ensure coordination and alignment
  • Support internal groups’ requirements for planning information, including benefits evaluation, performance analytics and adoption
  • Collaborate with the planning team to help coordinate external meetings
  • Provide support for other administrative duties as required

About You

  • Degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Business, or another related field.
  • 3+ years working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • 3+ years working experience in project management and delivery, risk assessment and mitigation, monitoring of project budgets, delivering reporting packages and dashboards
  • 1+ years experience in health field
  • Enrollment or completion of CAPM and/or PMP certification(s) from PMI is an asset
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with a focus on collaboration and flexibility when working with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills - comfortable preparing presentation material and delivering key messages to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience developing and delivering management reporting packages and dashboards
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to convert complex information into clear, concise presentations
  • Experience in healthcare technology implementation/deployment considered an asset
