Application Support Analyst (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is a Canadian private services company, which has been growing nationwide in Canada! They are looking to hire a Production Support Analyst.

About the Opportunity

• Analyze and resolve technical issues pertaining to enterprise critical third-party and custom-developed applications
• Record and maintain user reported questions/problems in incident tracking system
• Communicate effectively with both internal technical teams and non-technical users
• Manage a workload of technical application support issues on a timely basis
• Provide written or verbal statuses to users and internal staff on a timely basis
• Create documentation for internal processes
• Assist in change management process for various applications - e.g. performing small changes and configuration of the applications
• Participate in project teams for upgrades and new implementations

About You

• 2+ years of proven application support experience - specifically for critical production enterprise applications
• Understanding of basic Windows server troubleshooting (eg IIS, services, task manager, event logs, etc)
• Experience with IT ticketing systems
• Proven investigative and diagnostic skills
• Proficiency writing basic SQL queries
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus
• Exposure to application development is a plus (eg HTML, CSS, JS, .NET)
• Experience with data conversion is a plus
• Organized and detailed oriented, well-organized for resolving timely issues
• Demonstrated ability in prioritizing and handling multiple projects

Salary Range

$65,000 - $75,000/year
