About the Opportunity
- Effectively manage a large volume of complex, dynamic and concurrent process reengineering projects and responsibilities
- Identify and execute breakthroughs in process and system development by using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Enable a continuous improvement culture by driving the current team and culture through business project and product management, data analysis support, and Lean Six Sigma project execution
- Works collaboratively with business and technology partners to translate business problems into technical solutions through strong business acumen & management
- Leads the operational effectiveness efforts and KPI grounded business objectives
- Design & deliver material improvements that will enhance the business through people, process and technology
- Use appropriate measurement, analysis and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document improvements
- Works with Project Managers to support and drive key business initiatives using project management principles
- Responsible for preparing budgets and monitor financial performance to plan
- Develop relationships with other stakeholders and senior leaders and work with them to address topics that impact the business
- Prepare and deliver executive reporting relevant to the dynamic audiences via all communication forums
- Responsible for the creation of a Center of Excellence (COE) around Process Improvement and Optimization
About You
- 10+ years of hands-on experience driving major lean transformations with proven results using quality/process improvement
- Lean, Six Sigma, Black Belt practitioner with a solid experience in change management and performance improvement at large global enterprises
- Process Improvement certification (Business Analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, Black Belt Certification, etc.)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Computer, Industrial, or Mechanical)
- A critical thinker who can challenge the business on new ideas and bring an operational excellence perspective
- Strong working knowledge of technology, technical projects, databases, platforms, servers, environments, deployments, testing strategy & execution, etc.
- Understanding of data modeling tools, data models, data querying and reporting
- Experience with business process mapping, process mining, process transformation and customer journey mapping across multiple hardware and software platforms
- Knowledge of process flows (Level 1 – Level 5), business process modelling tools (e.g., Visio)
- Exceptional qualitative/quantitative analysis skills
- Effective relationship building skills
- A confident presenter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision
- Experience in an Insurance/Reinsurance or Financial industry environment considered an asset
Salary
$120,000 - $150,000/year
