Our client is a wholesale food and beverage company. They are looking for a Plant Finance Supervisor who will be responsible for providing financial and costing support.

About the Opportunity

• Cost and production reporting and analysis
• Analyze operational and production results and provide variance analysis
• Develop, implement, maintain, and review product-costing standards
• Create metrics that support the business requirements
• Create reports that include: yield data; efficiency; production quantity trend; labour cost; down time for daily / weekly / monthly KPI’s
• Key in identifying gaps
• Must be able to recommend and develop process improvements and internal controls, drive efficiencies and make changes
• Work closely with corporate office to develop standardization of processes
• Present financial results at monthly meetings to finance and operation leadership team
• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget
• Proactively provide recommendations to management
• Monthly financial reporting
• Year-end financial reporting, audit management, and reconciliations
• Ensure integrity of financial data in compliance with ASPE/GAAP and internal policies, procedures and controls to safeguard the company’s assets
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
• Member of the traceability and recall team
• Manage a staff of one

About You

• CPA designation
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong ERP knowledge, Microsoft Dynamics an asset

Salary Range
$100,000 to $110,000 /year
