About the Company

Our client is a mid-sized well-known company. They are looking for a Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for full cycle payroll administration and the full cycle recruitment process.

About the Opportunity

• Accountable for the full cycle payroll administration in PeopleSoft Payroll and Time and Labour application
• Setup new employees into Payroll system and maintain payroll employee information
• Prepare and transmit biweekly payroll to Ceridian for processing deposits and pay advice
• Perform daily and bi-weekly payroll administration (payroll adjustments, garnishment administration, run payroll processes, hires, terminations etc)
• Process and remit payment to 3rd party vendors/organizations
• Assist with month and year end reconciliation of payroll accounts and reporting as required
• Setup new employees into the benefit program in both PeopleSoft HR and vendor software
• Prepare/process year end tasks (i.e. adjustments needed to correct T4’s, T4A’s information)
• Responsible for full cycle recruitment process for positions throughout the organization

About You

• At least 5+ years of full cycle payroll experience (benefits experience an asset)
• Experience processing payroll for at least 400 - 500 employees
• Knowledge of Human Resources Policies and Programs
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Ceridian Payroll System and PeopleSoft Payroll and Time and Labor V8

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000/year
