Payroll Specialist - 2 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Process and input bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for salaried and hourly, including annual bonus payments and other special payments
• Work closely with human resources to ensure the timely processing of new hires, change requests, temporary staff, transfers, promotions and terminations
• Process and verify records of employment for terminated employees and complete as requested
• Ensure the timely reconciliation of various payroll general ledger accounts
• Verify automated journal entries and occasionally prepare manual entries
• Prepare and process year-end adjustments and tax forms

About You

• 5+ years of relevant full cycle payroll experience
• Previous exposure to ADP Workforce Now software in a payroll capacity
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation is required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay Rate

$28/hour
