About the Opportunity

Complete detailed and accurate reporting and analysis (weekly, monthly quarterly, annually, as well as on an as-requested basis)
- Full cycle biweekly payroll processing for commission, salary and hourly employees
- Administer base pay and bonus programs, including merit increases, short-term incentive plans, and long-term incentive plans
- Maintain time & attendance tracking system
- Participate in annual salary surveys and complete the survey audit process
- Respond to payroll inquiries from retail locations with urgency and be a solution provider
- Issue ROEs and prepare payroll reports as requested
- Perform advanced excel functions including, VLOOKUP, pivot table, data manipulation and analysis
- Conduct sophisticated analytics on data from human resources, compensation and payroll
- Support HR metrics reporting provided to Executives, Management, and various functional areas
- Manage HR payroll and compensation administration and processing
- Work closely with retail locations and other areas of Human Resources within the organization
- Participate in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned
About You
- Strong analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail is essential; this includes the ability to track, analyze, and interpret data, identify errors, conduct statistical analyses, present information and make recommendations in a clear and logical manner
- Advanced capability with software applications and tools including Microsoft Excel; this includes in-depth knowledge of formulas and macros, and the ability to produce complex data models
- 2-5 years of retail payroll experience in an HR environment
- Knowledge of ADP, Kronos and Workforce Now (WFN) preferred
- Knowledge of current Canadian legislative requirements and CRA regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative in recognizing efficiencies and implementing process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive business and employee information
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills required
- Display a positive attitude, be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure, without sacrificing quality and detail
- Self starter and team player; able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interpret, implement and adhere to organizational policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of HR policies and practices, cross provincial legislation and employment standards.
Salary
$55,000 - $60,000/year
