Payroll Administrator - 6-Month Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Reviewing employee set up in the payroll system and making improvements where necessary
  • Updating and maintaining employee master file of entitlements under the various unions
  • Comparing interim T4 records to employee paystubs
  • Reviewing employee payroll deductions including statutory, OMERS, benefits etc.
  • Assist with benefit administration
  • Assist with filing and maintaining employee records
  • Assist with drafting employee letters

About You

  • Ability to work independently and learn quickly
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential information
  • Experience with Great Plains Payroll considered an asset
