About the Opportunity

  • Responsible for corporate procurement for office supplies and project materials/needs as required and coordinating/corresponding with and retaining price quotations from vendors and preparation and management of a master vendor list
  • Responsible for office organization to ensure all offices are well maintained and functional
  • Responsible for corporate IT management (team will still log their own tickets, this person will need to approve the requests, order items such ordering hardware)
  • Support corporate communications (internal) and external communications in line with overall corporate branding and messaging
  • Support corporate reporting using word/PowerPoint/excel as required
  • Coordination and communication with head office to maintain compliance with head office policies and requirements
  • Human resource support duties including training and roll-out of pertinent employee programs and requirements as required in the workplace
  • Organization of office party dinners/social events for staff
  • Greeting all incomers at reception
  • Responding to general inquiries and directing inbound and outbound calls, mail coordination and managing the central inbox
  • Support other business/team members as required
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

About You

  • Previous experience managing reception desk (3+ years)
  • Effective communication, investigation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Proactive and ability to work independently, escalating issues when appropriate
  • Ability to deal with individuals at all levels in a fast-paced, demanding environment, often with tight deadlines and multiple deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail

Salary Range

$45,000 - $50,000/year
