About the Opportunity
- Ensure that accounting processes are being completed in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with applicable regulations and in line with best practices
- Perform all financial administrative tasks: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expense Management, Banking, and Audit Support
- Help develop financial reports and dashboards that are used by management to make appropriate financial decisions
- Help develop and prep reports: budget, committee, audit, etc.
- Proactively identify, quantify, and monitor cost improvement opportunities
- Accurately and efficiently administer the full-cycle payroll process
- Process payroll adjustments, deductions, change in compensation, new hires, and terminations
- Provide customer service to all employees regarding all financial inquiries, researching and troubleshooting all related issues
- Provide administrative support as needed: Meeting Preparation, Records Management, etc.
- Provide general office administration support as assigned
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 2-3 years of experience in Finance and administrative Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting with generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks Online, or other accounting software is an asset
- Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills
- Flexible and adaptable style; someone who can positively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional time and project management skills
- Bilingual: French is considered an asset
Salary
$40,000 - $50,000/year
