Our client is a Real estate company.  They are looking for Manager of Financial Reporting who will be responsible for assisting with preparation of financial statement reporting reporting to CFO.

About the Opportunity

• Coordinate and oversee the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for to ensure that they are completed accurately and in accordance within policy and in accordance to IFRS 

• Review of results and preparation of interim financial statements and executive quarterly reporting package. 

• Prepare Board of Director and Audit Committee presentations 

• Maintain a current knowledge base and keep abreast of developments which may impact (i.e. IFRS and Realpac) 

• Oversee the quarterly close process, including the maintenance of internal controls over the system and any enhancements 

• Maintaining internal control framework – control environment, risk assessment, control activities, communication, and monitoring activities. 

• Ensure compliance with all related tax authorities, including HST, PST, etc. 

• Co-ordinate year-end audit and quarterly functions with external auditors and prepare all necessary review documents 

• Demonstrate leadership competencies; with focus on attainment of goals and meeting established timelines 

About You

• CPA desgination 

• Public Accounting background (Big 4/6 Accounting Background) 

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related discipline 

Salary Range

$95,000 - $100,000/year
