Our client is a large financial institution located downtown Toronto, and they are looking to hire a Manager of Applications
About the Opportunity
- Managing a team of 4 to resolve critical incidents relating to Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations environment of 500 users
- Effectively determining appropriate courses of action, engaging and escalating involvement of required resources to efficiently restore service
- Performing regular problem management and control activities including interactions with the business
- Communicate critical production problem status, resolution strategies, and rationale of the resolution strategies to senior management and executives to keep them informed of critical production problems and to gain approval on operational activities
- Provide managerial leadership to employees and vendors, which includes assigning tasks or work, holding regular two-way meetings, setting context, conducting performance evaluations, mentoring, and coaching, to create and maintain a high-performing team
- Providing guidance to the 3rd party vendor ensuring services are being delivered according to the contract
- Providing service feedback and developing action plans to remediate issues, identifying processes and skills required for continuous improvements in knowledge base
- Managing ongoing application releases
About You
- Proven techno-functional knowledge MS Dynamics D365 for Finance and Operations
- Strong understanding of functional Accounting/Finance knowledge (eg AR/AP/GL/etc) - ability to understand business workflows and user requirements
- Experience leading small teams is preferred
- Ability to commute downtown 5 days a week
- Experience in financial industry is a plus
Salary Range
$130,000/year
