About the Company 
Our client is a multinational corporation, with operations in commercial real estate investment. They are looking for an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for overseeing Accounting for our client’s portfolio managing a team of Accountants, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

About the Opportunity 

• Reviewing monthly financial statements and reporting
• Variance and projection analysis, annual financial statements, and government reporting and remittances
• Managing a team to ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close cycles for a portfolio of assigned properties
• Managing a team to ensure accurate and timely final recovery reconciliations to tenants including common area maintenance, realty tax and utilities etc.
• Managing a team through the budgeting and forecasting cycles, including cash flow management, and equity funding or distributions
• Overseeing the year-end audit files and financial statement preparation for external audit and legal entity tax filings
• Providing accounting and financial guidance to the real estate management group including review of new leases, potential financial impact of lease terms and financial impact of new or existing accounting standards
• Working closely with our client’s Investment team to assist with acquisition and disposition of properties including review of purchase and sale agreements and statement of adjustments
• Liaising with internal groups including tax, legal, treasury, asset management, real estate management, corporate accounting, and leasing on property specific issues as required
• Coaching, mentoring and providing feedback to direct reports, including interim and annual written performance reviews, development plans and business plan
• Leading and or participating in department projects such as process improvement initiatives, business unit support or other departmental initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy

About You 

• Completed  CPA designation
• Minimum 2 to 3 years management experience
• Experience leading a team of 2 to 3
• Education Undergraduate degree in Commerce or Business Administration

Salary Range 
$110,000 - $120,000
