Manager of Accounting (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Coordinating and reviewing monthly financial statements, co-owner reporting including detailed variance and projection analysis, annual property and tenant audited statements, and government reporting and remittances
• Managing a team to ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end general ledger close for portfolio of assigned properties
• Managing a team to ensure accurate and timely final operating cost and property tax reconciliations to tenants
• Assisting with the financial planning and analysis teams helping with annual forecasts
• Preparing and coordinating year-end audit files and financial statements for external audit and legal entity tax filings
• Providing accounting and financial guidance to the real estate management group including review of new leases and impact on financial reporting
• Working with a number of cross functional teams including tax and treasury

About You

• University degree with a CPA (CA/CMA/CGA) designation required
• Have a minimum of 4 years management experience
• Experience in Property Accounting within a Retail environment
• Experience with a large ERP system is preferred (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Yaardi)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Pay Rate

$60/hour
