About the Opportunity

• Review, process, and validate the accounting requirements
• Validate General Ledger interface to Payroll Register and processing/oversee the process of automated and manual JE in the accounting system
• Process manual retro salary allocation re-class journals
• Manual journals for intercompany charge-backs for shared employees and intercompany leases
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and quarterly General Ledger accounts reconciliation
• Answer internal and external stakeholders’ inquiry
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction on day-to-day operations
• Build and maintain excellent relations by investigating and resolving processing issues and concerns on a timely basis
• Identify and document process improvements, implementing preventive and detective controls, and supporting annual auditing process
• Identify areas of process improvements by maximizing automation and cost efficiencies
• Provide assistance to internal and external auditors

About You

• CPA
• 5+ years of related corporate accounting experience with an oversight of payroll
• Experience in a management role
• Canadian Payroll Administrator, CPA (minimum) and actively enrolled in the CPM Certification program (an asset)

Salary Range

$100,000 - $110,000/year
