They are looking for a Manager, Internal Controls to be responsible for the coordination of internal control documentation, testing, reporting and recommend remediation where required.

About the Opportunity

• Implement and manage internal controls with respect to financial reporting policies, processes and procedures
• Prepare documentation and reports to ensure that the Company meets all regulatory compliance and accounting guidelines
• Document control processes to identify any gaps in best practice and recommend remediation plans for control deficiencies
• Review key risks and identify opportunities for risk mitigation
• Develop, maintain and coordinate Global internal control policies providing guidance and support for internal control issues
• Monitor changes in business processes, information systems, management and operations, and coordinate with functional staff to ensure mitigation of control risks
• Support new system and project initiatives from a strategic finance and internal control perspective
• Coordinate the quarterly internal controls reporting and preparation of quarterly certifications
• Coordinate the year-end internal controls reporting and preparation of certifications
• Work with external auditors to ensure audits and related projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner

About You

• CPA, CA
• 7+ years of IFRS experience with exposure to building internal controls and remediation
• Extensive knowledge of SOX or Bill 198
• Strong communication skills
• Manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred

Salary Range

$95,000 - $115,000/year
