Manager, Global Credit (Closed)

Our client is a small organization with a large AUM in the asset management industry. They are looking to hire a Manager, Global Credit will be primarily responsible for the ongoing operations and administration of the Global Credit portfolio.

About the Opportunity

• Quarterback the investment closing process
• Review valuation reports and models for private credit instruments to ensure appropriate valuations are recognized/recorded and liaise with external vendors to satisfy queries/issues
• Ensure reconciled investment-level financial statements and information to support internal accounting
• Provide oversight and review of month-end/quarter-end accounting close process
• Lead audits of Financial Statements related to Global Credit pooling structures
• Review and disseminate routine and ad-hoc requests completed by group members
• Review and/or prepare year-end financial statement note support and reporting schedules
• Liaise with clients and other internal/external stakeholders to manage and monitor routine and ad-hoc deliverables
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships; help establish plans for new client setup and transitions
• Improve existing operations, reporting and accounting functions
• Lead research and analysis of investment accounting treatments
• Provide guidance, insights and support testing of Global Credit system implementation

About You

• CPA or CFA
• 6+ years of experience in investment management, with direct experience working in Investment Finance or Investment Operations
• Private Equity industry experience
