Manager, Financial Reporting (Closed)

About the Company  

Our client is a leading mortgage company. They are currently looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting who will responsible for managing the completion of internal and external financial reporting obligations, in addition to regulatory reporting, month end processes, accounts payable, and assisting with year-end audit, ad hoc projects and other finance tasks.

About the Opportunity 

• Contribute to the overall accounting and financial reporting functions  
• Lead month-end close process and accounts payable function to meet internal and external reporting deadlines 
• Ensure accuracy of financial reporting through review of general ledger and interest rate profitability trends 
• Ensure monthly internal financial reporting provides accurate and relevant information to management and the Board 
• Review OSFI and other regulatory returns on a monthly and quarterly basis 
• Review and monitor daily balance sheet, capital management and regulatory metrics to identify key financial issues 
• Review controls and procedures to support in the development of high levels of efficiency by ensuring processes are aligned, support cross functional boundaries, and are integrated to better support business needs and objectives 

About You 

• CPA Designation (or very close to completion) 
• Big 4 audit experience preferred 
• 6 years of experience in accounting, finance and reporting 
• Advanced Microsoft skills: macros, excel, and word 

Salary Range 

Up to $110,000/year
