About the Opportunity

• Support the general ledger of the company and its affiliated corporations so that the financial records are suitable for internal reporting, funder reporting, and for the preparation of financial statements.
• Supervise and provide leadership to the accounts payable team, including identifying and implementing measures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supervise and provide leadership to the payroll team, including ensuring compliance with all reporting in a timely manner.
• Perform tasks which provide access to information of a confidential nature, including information regarding staff, clients, financial and management matters that must be held in the highest level of confidence.

About You

• CPA/CA designation or close to completion
• Minimum 3-4 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience
• Experience in a public accounting firm/ audit a requirement
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector is an asset
• Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software an asset

Salary
$90,000/year
