Our client is a publicly listed CPG company. They are looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting who will be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement preparation for the organization.

About the Opportunity
- Ensure the timely filings of quarterly and annual reports financial reports on SEDAR
- Liaise with external auditors for quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
- Manage the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
- Assist with all other regulatory filings
- Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance
- Prepare technical documents that communicate issues in a logical and comprehensive fashion
- Liaise with Operations and the Financial Planning & Analysis team to verify & align costing
- Assist with quarterly and annual inventory count reconciliations
- Actively participate in the integration of newly acquired subsidiaries
- Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
- Assist in ERP implementation and updates
- Assist with continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period
- Ability to perform ad hoc projects for the CFO
About You
- CPA
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting
- Cannabis Industry experience is an asset
- Experience with IFRS and public financial reporting requirements
Salary Range
$95,000 - $115,000/year
