This is an exciting role at a large telecommunications company. They are looking to add a Manager, Financial Reporting to support corporate accounting close and reporting, including the consolidation of global results, and provide influence on our accounting policy and compliance under IFRS.

About the Opportunity

• Lead month-end accounting and close, ensuring consolidation of global results including intercompany eliminations, balance sheet reconciliation and analysis
• Prepare variance analysis on income statement and balance sheet as compared to budget/forecast and prior month/year
• Prepare certain note disclosures to the financial statements, MD&A and Board reporting materials
• Work with the external auditors on annual audit and quarterly reviews of the financial statements; provide schedules and information to facilitate an efficient and effective process
• Support internal control compliance and testing by the internal auditors
• Assist in the preparation and updates of the company’s accounting policies and procedures to reflect new accounting pronouncements

About You

• CPA, CA 
• 7-8 years of relevant experience in a large, complex, and dynamic organization
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS, Financial Reporting, and Accounting Policy

Salary Range

$105,000 - $115,000/year
