They are looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with external reporting requirements.

About the Opportunity

• Manage and coordinate financial statement quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Prepare and review draft quarterly and annual financial statements, financial statement notes and MD&A in accordance with IFRS
• Assist in the completion of the Annual Report, Management Information Circular and Annual Information Form as required
• Review and approve the quarterly and annual legal entity financial statements and other bank reporting requirements
• Review and approve monthly financial statement consolidation, subsidiary company financial statement preparation and completion of the monthly reporting packages
• Review and approve annual impairment testing
• Review changes in IFRS accounting standards and assess their impact to go-forward external reporting requirements
• Determine changes required to internal accounting and other functional processes
• Oversees process changes to ensure go-forward compliance
• Manages the activities and development of two direct reports: a Senior Financial Analyst and a Financial Analyst
• Sets annual goals & objectives and annual development plans for direct reports
• Identify SAP process enhancement opportunities and provide recommendations
• Prepare pro-forma financial statements for prospectus filings when required

About You

• CPA, CA
• 6+ years of related financial reporting experience
• Experience with IFRS
• Strong communication skills

Salary Range

$105,000 - $115,000/year
