Our client is a leading company in the music and entertainment industry. They are currently looking for a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Reporting, to lead in all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, risk management, and reporting.

About the Opportunity

• Define financial situations by completing quantitative analyses and develops strategies to address potential outcomes and returns 
• Value IP assets by maintaining current portfolio valuation and assessing and highlighting risks of impairment, and a key contributor to reviewing and assisting with the execution of the external valuation 
• Maintain database of key financial metrics of the Finance department, which are relied on by Senior Management for monthly/ad hoc reviews and discussions 
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information 
• Responsible for oversight and maintenance of key financial models within the department (i.e., specific to minimum guarantees and collars)
• Key driver in the annual budgeting process, quarterly/monthly forecasting process 
• Responsible for cash flow forecasting on a weekly basis to ensure working capital/deal funding requirements are met 
• Oversight of two analysts to ensure that all monthly, quarterly, annual objectives are met 
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications 
• Oversee the preparation of monthly consolidated divisional financial statements and management information package 
• Provide reports to corporate and business unit management on the BU’s revenues and expenses 
• Ensure timely and accurate capture of financial data in Dynamics GP by the Financial Reporting team 
• Month-end processing and adherence to reporting deadlines 

About You

• CPA designation, CA is an asset
• Hybrid skillset (FP&A & Corporate Reporting)
• Exceptional Excel / Modelling / Data skills (FP&A, budgeting, variance analysis, scenario modelling, etc.)
• Previous experience in people management
• Previous experience with data-heavy industries (professional services, advertising/media, tech, music, etc.)
• Knowledge of Power BI / Dashboarding / Data tools is an asset

Salary Range

$115,000 - $125,000/year
