Our client is a leading processor and marketer in the consumer packaged goods industry. They are currently looking for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, to support the retail and commercial areas of the business.

About the Opportunity

• Lead the development/maintenance of financial models to support overall business objectives
• Assist in the development of annual and long-term financial plans
• Lead the budget planning, forecasting and other corporate financial requirements for the division
• Deliver financial analysis/decision support to Sales and Marketing
• Drive internal process improvements/controls; continually identify opportunities for automation
• Gather, analyze and report financial results and insights to leadership
• Business Insight
• Provide counsel to management on strategic analyses that focus on maximizing revenue, profitability and cash flow
• Provide analyses of new business opportunities including product launches
• Analyze complex financial information to develop models and provide recommendations to management
• Research and analyze key business drivers, trends and performance indicators
• Partner/collaborate with management teams to gather, analyze, and prepare recommendations
• Provide guidance to the Marketing teams in the areas of costing of product, plus insight and assessment of new product growth opportunities
• Prepare appropriate financial analysis in the areas of margin, mix and pricing for existing and new products
• Lead analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, cash flow projections, and business forecasts
• Prepare required presentations for senior management

About You

• Experienced SFA or higher
• 4+ years progressive FP&A
• Experience with SME or SMB organizations
• Previous experience with CPG is a strong asset
• Advanced Excel and Presentation skills
• MBA or CPA is an asset

Salary Range

$100,000 - $110,000/year
