Cybersecurity Manager (Closed)

About the Company  

Our client is a TSX-listed manufacturer, and they are looking to hire a Manager of Cybersecurity. 

About the Opportunity 

• Currently there is a vCISO vendor that does all the Cyber work for the company, they are looking to have an in-house Manager to run Cyber, eventually reducing the scope for the vendor 

• Tech stack: mostly Microsoft on desktops and servers (~200 Windows 40 Linux servers), VMware 7.x, Cisco routers, HP switches, Palo Alto Prisma, Blade servers, SDwan, Gruntworks, Crowdstrike, Splunk, CyberArc, SyslogNG. Siem and SOC are managed by vendor  

• The company does regular pen tests every year, quarterly reports presented to the Board; audits twice a year based on NIST and COBIT, ISO 27001/2 

• This role is 70% plan/orchestrate/strategy/monitoring/policy/checklists/vendor management/etc and 30% hands-on when needed. Most hands-on execution will be done through the IT Infrastructure team of 15-20 

About You 

• Proven history of progressive Cybersecurity positions in mid to large environments 

• Experience with multi-location organizations 

• Previous hands-on infrastructure management and monitoring skills (server/network/etc) 

• Current strong experience managing cyber policies/procedures, lead programs/projects, managing vendor(s), audits/assessments, remediation, etc 

• Able to commute to Mississauga HQ a few times per week (as needed) 

• Manufacturing, logistics industries experience is a bonus 

• Palo Alto Prisma and SDWan exposure is a plus 

Salary Range 

$135,000/year
