Manager - Business Systems IT (Closed)

About the Company  
Our client is an electronics manufacturing company, and they are looking to hire a Manager, Business Systems IT.

About the Opportunity

• They are looking for an IT manager with business systems focused
• They have a small IT team, and they expect this person to know database management, ERP support – SysPro (current ERP system), Aegis FactoryLogix Platform, they also develop some custom business solutions to automate business processes, shop floor systems, etc
• This manager should also have basic troubleshooting ability with Hardware / software
• They have a corporate hardware team which supports server infra, then they have local hardware and local servers who is reporting to this new manager
• 70% focus on ERP management and 30% is focused on managing software systems, custom applications - Backoffice / admin activities, database management, etc
• The data management part is critical
• For example: when on the assembly line a certain part of the mother board is built, then the barcode on the motherboard is scanned and it is then moved on the next on the assembly line. The scanned data is saved into Aegis database which is then used for reporting/statistics, etc
• They have around 220 non- IT users on the production floor and around 100 IT users who are the support staff (engineering, supply chain) and corporate employees

• Strong hands-on working knowledge of various business applications like ERP, SharePoint, WMS, etc. They use SysPro as their ERP, but they are open to any other manufacturing ERP/MRP systems like JDE, Infor, Visual, etc.
• Strong with SQL, reporting, data integration between systems
• Experience supporting and managing applications in a manufacturing environment.
• Commute to Markham office

Salary Range
$120,000/year
