They are looking for a Manager, Accounting who will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements and act as liaison between IT and Business Stakeholders, lead workshops between multiple IT departments and create/track JIRA stories for development.

About the Opportunity
- Manage the day-to-day functions of the corporate accounting team ensuring all deadlines for month-end close and financial reporting requirements are met in accordance with accounting policies and standard operating procedures/controls
- Preparation of the non-consolidated financial statements
- Assist with the research of technical accounting guidance and the preparation of IFRS memos for quarterly and annual audits
- Create and enhance monthly financial reports and analysis for senior management
- Manage the annual audit process for the company and its subsidiaries
- Review subsidiary journal entries, bank reconciliations, working papers and financial statements prepared by the corporate accounting team
- Assist in the implementation of SOX 404 and on-going maintenance of internal controls
- Evaluate and optimize current business processes and systems
- Assist with the conversion to a new accounting ERP system
About You
- CPA
- 5+ years of progressing accounting experience, preferably in a publicly traded company and/or in the financial services sector
- Strong background in IFRS, experience with multi-company consolidation, business processes and ICFR
Salary Range
$90,000 - $105,000/year
