About the Company  

Our client is one of Canada’s largest providers of healthcare for Seniors, and they are looking to hire a Level 1 Help Desk – Bilingual (French).


About the Opportunity

  • Role ideal for a Bilingual Level 1 Help Desk, who is used to taking 20-30 calls / day
  • The candidate will have prior hybrid working exp, and well versed with on call after hours
  • The team will be supporting 191 locations in Canada, 16000 users, and approx
  • 200 incidents a day
  • Experience in ServiceNow (ITSM incidents, log queue) a huge asset
  • Even beginners with 1-2 years of experience will be considered, for e.g., grads from Sheridan college


About You

  • Bilingual – English & French mandatory
  • 1-2 years of Level 1 IT Support experience (Virtual, phone etc.), taking 20/30 calls/day
  • Willingness to participate in on call rotation once every 2 months (weekdays/weekends)
  • Ability to commute easily to Office location e.g., Scarborough will be too far
  • Maturity and experience in a Hybrid role important


Bonus Items:

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in the following areas is an asset:
    • Demonstrated experience in a distributed Windows Server environment (with many remote networked locations) with a mixture of Cloud/SaaS and on-premises systems experience
    • Good knowledge and understanding of network environments, concepts, and technologies
    • Experience in a managed desktop environment (such as Citrix)
    • Working knowledge of MS Windows server environments and Active Directory
    • Experience supporting VOIP phone systems (Cisco/Avaya)
  • Healthcare industry exposure


Salary Range

Up to $68,000/year
