Our client is a successful SaaS software company, and they are looking to hire a Lead CloudOps Engineer for a remote full-time position to help them continue modernizing their SaaS product and lead a team of smart and driven developers. 

About the Opportunity

• Our client is looking for a CloudOps Engineer to manage a hosting server environment running Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu/Rocky) servers running on Azure.
• We are looking for a Senior hands-on technical resource who is very strong with managing production web HOSTING CloudOps environments - large cloud-based (Azure preferred but AWS is acceptable) Windows and Linux based environments hosting externally facing SaaS software
• This person should also have experience with infrastructure security, BCP/DR and compliance/documentation for things like SOC, PCI or ISO

Required experience:

• Strong progressive hands-on experience in supporting/managing production 24x7 web software hosting server environments
• Understanding of custom-developed SaaS application hosting - CloudOps - new builds, maintenance/ monitoring, scripting/automation, BCP/DR, hosting security, working with DevOps team
• Cloud experience (Azure or AWS)
• Linux experience
• Web server experience
• Containerization and CI/CD understanding - Docker/Kubernetes (or similar)
• Good communication and presentation skills

Nice-to-Have:

• Degree and certifications are a bonus
• Experience with SOC or PCI or ISO compliance/documentation is an asset
• Terraform or similar experience is an asset
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Kubernetes or CludFoundry is a bonus

Salary Range

$150,000.00 /year
