JDE Business Systems Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

BSA’s provide consulting support within their functional area of expertise while actively seeking ways to apply system technology to business processes.  This includes research and identification of enabling functionality based on business requirements. Incumbents in this position are challenged to develop and maintain credibility and effective working relations with leadership, business users, process owners and fellow team members in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business problems, as well as IT/IS strategies, issues, and priorities.

• Engages Business Leaders, providing consultation, gathering their requirements (project or support related) and translating them into functional technical specifications
• Review cross-functional business processes, identify gaps and propose remediation
• Facilitate development of solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, technological options, and process facilitation techniques
• Advise on options, risks, resource requirements, and impact on other business processes and system priorities
• Work with Business across the organization to document and obtain requirements, supporting the creation of prototype solutions such as analytics, KPI dashboards, etc.
• Document systems and their interdependencies: Evolving and maintaining design documents to reflect changes introduced by new implementations
• Maintain domain Application-System knowledge and keep abreast of new technology developments
• Drive the quality assurance process by assisting the business to translate business requirements and use cases into test plans and scenarios

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, administration or computer/business related major
• 5+ years of experience in a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP environment with significant hands-on business experience working with the accounting/finance business units
• 5+ years of experience in the process design, configuration, support and trouble-shooting of functional areas of JD Enterprise 9.1 or 9.2 versions
• Experience with integration and system transitions of acquisitions involving third party systems
• Strong experience in cross-functional process review/analysis and re-engineering
• Experience in software development lifecycles, software deployment, and implementation processes and working with SaaS based products
• Solid technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary

$90,000 - $110,000/year
