Java Team Lead (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is a large company in the financial services space - and they are looking to hire a Java Developer / Team Lead. 

About the Opportunity

• This position is hands-on 20-30% coding, the rest is team leadership
• The technology stack is Java/Spring/Springboot/Angular
• It’s a mix front end / backend / API work
• This role is a mix of new development and support/debugging of existing applications
• We are looking for a Lead who has led small teams of developers (including performance reviews/etc)

About You

• 5+ years of experience with full stack Java web development
• Front-end experience (any JavaScript)
• RESTful APIs, microservices (Spring Boot)
• 1+ years of Team Lead experience managing developers
• Commute to the downtown office 1 day per week

Nice To Have:

• CI/CD, DevOps exposure
• CMS: Marketo or Adobe AEM type integration experience
• Experience with Cloud Based Applications on AWS
• Experience with Snowflake, Low Code Platforms (Appian)
