Our client is a residential and commercial construction company, and they are looking to hire an IT Technical Support Engineer – Level II.

About the Opportunity

• The Level 2 (2.5) – IT Support supports all users through the investigation and resolution of End User Computing hardware, application and software, and minor network related issues from level 1 up to level 3
• ServiceNow ticketing system, 135 users (separate teams for Level 1, 2 & 3)
• 7 active sites in GTA (travel needed once a month), role based out of HO

About You

• Min 3 Years’ experience as Deskside Support Engineer or Equivalent IT Service/Support Role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Strong experience, including Active Directory, desktop device support for Windows
• Expert in PC hardware replacement and repair, workstation deployment and configuration, troubleshooting minor client network connectivity issues, and networked printers’ configuration
• Knowledgeable on desktop, laptop, mobile devices (common smartphones and tablets)
• Knowledge of Antivirus / antimalware software
• IT Certifications
• Willingness to travel as needed

Bonus items:

• Knowledge of Apple OS
• Working knowledge of help desk ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) and remote assistance tools such as Remote Desktop Connection, and TeamViewer
• SCRUM framework and Kanban boards
• Scripting knowledge a plus specifically PowerShell or Terraform.
• ITIL v3/4 understanding

Salary Range

$65,000-$75,000/year
