IT Systems Analyst (Closed)

About the Company  

Our client is a large international law firm and they are looking to hire an IT Systems Analyst. 

About the Opportunity 

• This is an enterprise Application Support position 

• This role will be assigned a portfolio of 5-6 internal enterprise applications which this person will 'own' from a support/change/project/config perspective 

• Any escalations from service desk regarding those apps will come to this person, and any changes the business wants to make will also come to this person (and he/she will work with the vendors to make the changes happen) 

• This person will be spending about 50% of their time on projects (eg changes/enhancements to the applications, upgrades, etc) - wearing a Business Analyst ‘hat’, understanding business requirements,  conveying those to the vendors or other teams, then testing and making sure delivered results are what was originally requested 

• The other 50% will be spent on overall application support and integration, user training, etc. This person needs to be somewhat of a support generalist - having good infrastructure support background (eg desktop/server) as well as strong SQL (they will be moving data around, cleansing and manipulating data), and some development understanding (eg they will be involved in some automation/integration using Powershell, Power Platform, etc) 

About You 

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on corporate infrastructure and application support experience (heavier on application support) 

• Experience 'owning' config/support/changes for enterprise applications - including gathering requirements and testing deliverables (UAT) 

• Experience with integration / automation using Powershell, MS Power Platform, .NET or similar 

• Strong SQL skills (experience working with data - cleansing, manipulation, uploads, data migration) 

• Good communication skills to interact with IT team and vendors 

Bonus skills: 

• Working with simple SSIS packages 

• ITIL understanding 

• French 

• Agile understanding 

• Vendor management experience 

• Project Management, BA experience 

Salary Range 

$85,000/year
