IT Manager, Application and Cloud Security Operations (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• The IT Manager-Application and Cloud Security Operations will be providing hands-on leadership and skills to implement controls with a focus on automation and securing the development deployment of software (web, mobile, API), and be responsible for designing and implementing security procedures, controls, and monitoring of the Azure cloud infrastructure
• The role will be actively working with software architects and assessing architecture and security threats (Threat Modelling), and ask questions like "does the development have system integration, are we using tokens, certificates, do we have sensitive information flowing across the system?"
• The manager will work with external developers and confirm what security practices they use for code development
• The applications are intermediate complexity at best
• Key activities include providing guidance on security requirements based on OWASP, conducting automated application security testing (DAST, SAST) for web and mobile applications
• The manager will also coordinate Penetration Testing with cybersecurity providers

About You

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security operations
• Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 2700x, COBIT, or NIST
• 3+ years of deep experience with one or more of the following threat and vulnerability management solutions (Nessus, Rapid 7, Qualys)  
• Strong experience in Vulnerability Management
• Knowledge of technical infrastructure, operating systems, networks, databases, and systems as they relate to IT Security and IT Risk
• Experience with threat intelligence, endpoint protection, firewalls, IPS/IDS, content filtering
• 3+ year of experience in people management
• Advanced experience working with one or more of: Python, GO, Ruby, and have experience integrating with third party APIs

Salary Range
$133,000/year
