IT Applications Specialist (Yardi) (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• You have minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems or Computer science
• You will breakdown the requirements into technology components, in coordination with RA IT EVP and RA IT Development Manager
• You will design of end to end business process
• You will identify / evaluate various software / solutions to fulfill the requirements and finalize the solution architecture for the need
• You will configure / develop new system functionalities as per business needs
• You will implement new releases into Test and Production environments
• You will design and develop application interfaces and maintain existing interfaces
• You will coordinate the release process with business groups
• You will communicate detailed descriptions of functional changes and provide follow-up support as required
• You will create scripts to integrate Yardi with other products and services in the organization
• You will create and run ad-hoc database scripts and reports
• You will design and develop reports based on business requirements
• You will develop and execute database scripts such as data fixes, procedures and cursor
• You will understand and resolve application user queries / issues about the functionalities and implemented solution
• You will maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality
• You will troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the OS, database and SQL code levels
• You will analyze and resolve technical support requests coming from product team
• You will provide direction and support to the business divisions for User Acceptance Testing
• You will create test cases and coordinate execution of the test plans
• You will perform unit, performance and stress testing
• You will review the code / solution developed by other team members, and ensure code quality and scalability

About You

• You have minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems or Computer science
• You have a minimum of 8 years technical experience as a developer
• You have 3 - 5 years of experience with Yardi Voyager Real Estate investment and accounting system required
• You have strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and an expert knowledge of Yardi scripting and Yardi report types (scripted, YSR and SSRS)
• You have strong experience in maintaining MS SQL databases including creation, data management, backups, security and performance tuning
• You have experience supporting 3rd party vendor applications and interfaces
• You have experience with .Net & Visual Studio
• You have experience of working in a fast paced, complex, multi-location IT environment, in different capacities
• You possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, creative, a focus on customer service, possess a high level of energy, enthusiasm, excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, sense of urgency, team player, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and commitment
• You have demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English

Salary

$120,000 - $125,000/year
