About the Opportunity

• Run various reports and analyze investment statements to record journal entries
• Perform detailed account reconciliations
• Complete review, including reasonableness check of data for obvious discrepancies
• Resolve discrepancies, while advising external parties and cross-functional areas on process improvements to limit future discrepancies
• Prepare for monthly and quarterly investment reporting to develop accurate consolidated and non-consolidated financial information, as well as to complete other regulatory filing requirements
• Interact with external business partners, such as the investment managers, to ensure all investment information is complete and accurate
• Actively participate in responding to queries from external auditors
• Compile information requiring combinations of data from multiple sources (internal and external), while independently recommending and implementing process enhancement initiatives to improve efficiencies
• Daily cash flow management, including cash flow projections, cash transfers and wires

About You

• University degree majoring in accounting/business
• CPA In Progress is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to focus on the details

Salary

$55,000 - $60,000/year
