Intermediate Accountant (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Assist with the proper maintenance of FS
• Perform accounting reconciliations, investigate, and resolve issues
• Assist with bank reconciliations and reconciliation of other payment platforms
• Assist with AR/AP
• Book JE as needed
• Assist with the setup of new entities, systems, and accounts
• As a Finance team member, provide assistance to the park GMs on all matters – eg customer invoicing, payments etc
• Assist staff members as needed on accounting and adhoc tasks
• Participate in the year end audit
• Assist with tax matters
• Experience in Canadian tax a strong plus

About You

• 2+ years of full cycle accounting experience
• A strong knowledge of HST and GST
• Ability to perform tasks such as bank reconciliations, book journal entries, as well as other ad hoc tasks as assigned
• Intermediate excel skills
• CPA enrollment or designation is an asset

Salary

$70,000/year
