Intermediate Accountant (Closed)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to support our accounting team and firm

• This position is full-time and suitable for an individual with 3+ years of accounting experience, particularly with posting adjusting entries, understanding pre-paid expenses and handling of prepaids, reconciling bank accounts and AR/AP listings, and Trust accounting
• The individual will report to the Accounting Manager and Team Lead

About You

• An accounting degree
• The ability to answer questions around journal entries
• The ability to critically think and question accounting processes
• Knowledge in PC Law or Prolaw would be an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and keen organizational ability
• Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team
• The ability to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines

Salary

$60,000  -  $65,000/year
